On Education

We believe that no child should be denied the opportunity to learn and thrive. We wholeheartedly support the No Child Left Behind legislation. Accountability measures, local control and flexibility along with new options for parents creates a better public education system for everyone.

On Religious Liberty

The government does not have the ability to make people religious or devout. However, it (government) should avoid creating obstacles to the free exercise of religious practices. We believe the Founders desired separation of Church and state, but not a separation of God and state.

On the Houses of Worship Free Speech Restoration Act

We support H.R. 235, a bill that would amend the IRS code of 1986 to restore the ability of churches and other houses of worship to freely participate in political campaigns.

On the Rights of the Unborn

We belive that human life begins at conception and that unborn babies should have the same right to life as all other people.

On Same-Sex Marriage

We believe that the legally sanctioned marriage should be limited to unions of one man and one woman. We support efforts to protect the institution of marriage including the Federal Marriage Amendment.
